For those who were wondering why the servers are still up:

The maintenance task, which basically consisted in switching hard drives, had to be postponed.
We are currently running a backup, which takes much longer than estimated.
The shutdown will take place next week, after another announcement.

I have seen other projects give notices on the Boinc program itself. Will this be done in the future? I did not notice the news until I decided to check the website.

@Shurado: that's why we created this twitter account: https://twitter.com/poem_at_home
so we can give you some news if our webserver is down for maintenance.

But you are right, this would be a nice feature. We will work on it.

@all: new raid is up and running (note: changing harddisks can cause cpu errors ;) )

status:
webserver and boinc server are running again

atm. we can't give you new jobs; first we need to sync our project data.

As Moritz said, the project data has to be synced before we can send out new jobs.
This task is currently running; unfortunately I can't give you an appointed time when it finishes. Please be patient.

Thanks for the heads up. Will switch to other projects for now to keep my cards busy.

I think project sync is needed too for functional sync Userupdate with BOINCStats?

Good news everyone, gpucrystal jobs are now being sent out again. Other tasks will follow as soon as possible.

BOINCStats should not be affected by the synchronisation.
