As we discovered an overgranting for our resent workunits, we decided to change our credit system to fixed credits on Monday. All overestimated credit points will be normalized.
We apologise for the trouble caused.

The credits will be set as follows / Die Credit Werte werden wie folgt gesetzt:

    firstdrug: 80.8275865915366
    gpucrystal: 2925.23047140266
    rigiddock: 113.608330044946
    barrelcompare: 20.6341535290809

Finally! \o/

I had freak results like increasing workload by 40% due to new drivers and at the same credits per WU just going down . Now I had some extremely slow running WUs as the backup project kicked in - and they got rewarded by a hilarious amount of credit.

Very good decision and also rewarding the folks who increase GPU load to get more science done. :)

Btw: 'Funny' to see there is a credit system possible that actually rewards slowing work down...

I have rigiddock wu's which only get 1.44 points. Others get 114. Differs even on the same PC.

Its a joke, I believe.
I have so many WUs after 12:00 with exact 1.44Cr - once again: ONE POINT FOUR FOUR !!!
Means at least around 9 Cr for 24 working hours of a Pentium 4 or 250 Cr. for a AMD Phenom II X4 945 - incredible!

What ever you are trying it will be more bad after that...

Like Moritz said in the 'Credit overgranting' thread, until all WUs issued before 12:00 UTC today with the wrong credit data in the XML database are returned a cronjob will run daily to correct the credits to the fixed amount...
So calm down everybody and begin complaining when it "hurts" afterwards, if there still is something to complain about. :P

Very very funny...

... but however I will check it after 12:00 once again, to see the changes.
I should able to see all results (from the 12th and 13th) cahnging from 1.44Cr into 144Cr? O.K.
Let's pray for...
I'm here, as always, a little incredulously...

(Remembering:
Actually this is not important, because we're here to help, and we all know we can't be anything for our credits anyway...)

Nope it isn't, it seems that it is already fixed since you now have 2,925.0o points for that work unit http://boinc.fzk.de/poem/result.php?resultid=62733382

126 GPU tasks with credit of 14.45 did not increase with cron job. These were all resends.

25 GPU tasks with credit of 14.45 were increased to 2925 credits.

1 GPU task with about 60,000 credits was reduced to 2925 credits.
