The Nanoscale and Biomolecular Simulation Group, hoster of POEM@HOME, is also involved in other projects.
For those who are interested in our field of activity, I'd like to draw attention to MMM@HPC, a project which provides partners in research and industry with an easy interface for multiscale material modelling.

In eigener Sache

The security certificate for the web site https://www.multiscale-modelling.eu/ is invalid. Could you please fix that.

Hi,

as far as I can see the website uses a valid certificate.
It's signed by "Deutsche Telekom Root CA 2", which may not be installed on base Windows 7 systems.
If you're using Internet Explorer, try to get all available windows updates (including those marked as optional).
Third party browsers usually bring their own root certificate list, so try to update these as well, if you use one.

If you still get the invalid certificate error after these steps, please let me know.

Does anybody else have this problem?

Best regards
Thomas

Yes, Firefox 25.0.1 gives "Untrusted Connection" warning page.

"This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.multiscale-modelling.eu, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

Technical Details
www.multiscale-modelling.eu uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer"

Ok, that snippet was illuminating, now I have a strong suspicion :)
I'll inform the admin of the website and hope it'll be fixed soon.
